Made In Galveston

Where you come from has value. We just put it on wax and on your back.

The Island

32 miles of Gulf Coast, all of it in the music.

Galveston doesn't get talked about the way Houston does. It's the port that built fortunes and the seawall that's held back hurricanes. It's old money on the boulevard and working families a few blocks off it. It's a place people pass through on the way to the beach without ever knowing what's actually here. Made In Galveston exists because that story deserved its own soundtrack.

This isn't a label imprint or a marketing concept built in a boardroom. It's one artist — Money Coo, born Anthony Smith — handling the production, the distribution, the business, and the booking himself, building a catalog and a brand from the island out.

The Sound

Trap drums. Slowed-down low end. Gulf Coast DNA.

Galveston sits close enough to Houston to inherit its gravity — the trap that built H-Town's reputation, the syrup-slow tempo and chopped-up vocals that turned the city's screwed-and-chopped tradition into a sound the whole South borrowed from. Money Coo grew up on that lineage and built his own pocket inside it: heavy low end, patient tempos, hooks that sit back instead of shouting for attention.

The debut LP, Made in Galveston, is nine tracks mixed and mastered solo — F-LUV, XOTIC, VERDI, Cherryoak Feathers, I HEARD, HIT A PLAY, G-COUNTY Holdin, Chase Money All Day, and A Hunded. It's catalogued with ASCAP and distributed through UnitedMasters, but it was built the same way everything here gets built: independently, on the island, by hand.

The Brand

Music and merch, cut from the same cloth.

Made In Galveston isn't a t-shirt slapped on top of a SoundCloud link. The apparel carries the same dark-luxury restraint as the music — black and gold, clean lines, pieces built to be worn, not just collected. Every drop is meant to function the way the records do: understated until you look closer, then unmistakably intentional.

Buy the hoodie, stream the album, show up to a show — it's all the same catalog, the same island, the same hand on the wheel.

The Mission

Built without a label. Built for the people who showed up first.

No A&R picked this sound. No label fronted the budget. Every track, every design, every shipped order runs through one person who still answers his own messages. That's not a limitation — it's the point. Made In Galveston is proof that where you're from is enough material to build something real, no permission required.

This brand belongs to the island and the people who claim it — the ones who knew the sound before it had a name, and the ones discovering it now. Every purchase, every stream, every share is a direct investment in an independent artist staying independent.

Listen to the album. Wear the brand. Pull up to the next show.
